The art of Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga, intelligent anatomy and a message of empowerment are at the heart of this amazing pregnancy training, helping teachers to meet the needs of expectant mamas so perfectly.

The journey of pregnancy is both remarkable and deeply challenging and yoga is such a powerful tool during this time as we can all personally attest to.

Learning to expertly guide women every step of the way is such a beautifully empowering and connecting experience for student and teacher,  helping to cultivate inner strength and a sense of empowerment whilst nurturing and holding space.

With fierceness, fluidity and fun!

Teaching pregnancy yoga is so beautifully rewarding but it is also a big responsibility to take on and that is why we want you to feel armed with incredible knowledge and confidence as you move through the online material to become the more amazing pregnancy yoga teacher out there.  It's important to us to have a personal connection to each student and we're on hand for any support you need throughout your training and beyond.

Many prenatal teacher training courses lack anatomy information; you'll find this training steeped in next-level anatomy and biomechanics, making our teachers a cut above the rest.

We can't wait to share it with you!

Specifically, here’s what you’ll get in this training:

  • Personal connection to trainers - on demand support through the entirety of your training.

  • Over 50 hours of video-led information combining theory and practical sessions.

  • Teaching practice, coursework and case studies.

  • Comprehensive and logical online training, topics including:

  • The CSV Foundations & Adapting for Pregnancy.

TEACHERS:

Your guides for this training are lead teacher Anya Hawkes, Sadie's Certified Master Trainer and Senior CSV Teachers & Pregnancy Experts: Suzanne Sanchez-Byrne and Lara Darby. Collectively they bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to this training - in pregnancy, women's health, anatomy, yoga teaching and teacher training.  They combine forces within this online training to offer one of the most comprehensive Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training courses available online today!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The course is online and self-paced therefore you can complete the training in a time-frame to suit you.  We suggest a 3 month period, completing with the submission of a video recording of a full 40-60 minute Pregnancy Yoga class and case-studies, but it is possible to take less or more time as you wish.

The online course is packed full of great content, created in a logical order, with an intelligent blend of theory and practical sessions.  Take your time to move through the material and do the practices as they will help to reinforce what you are learning and start to spark some inspiration for you when you start to teach.

OM-WERK, PRACTICE TEACHING & CASE STUDIES

This is an important part of the course, that helps to seal in all of the information you've been learning.  You'll find a short quiz and some case-studies to complete in this section.

We also ask you to complete some practice teaching at this time.  We understand that this might be difficult during COVID

restrictions, so please reach out to us if you need any advice.  It may also be possible to observe a live (streamed) class with us (subject to availability) which you might find useful.  Again, just ask us about that opportunity.

AND FINALLY...

Your VIDEO ASSESSMENT - You are required to send us a full length 40-60 minute video of you in the teacher's seat of a Pregnancy Yoga class.

There is the option to have some private mentoring during the course as well as being able to do the assessment class live. Please reach out to us if you wish to do either of these - private sessions are £40 per hour extra.

This might sound like a lot of content but once you get going, everything will flow.  It is important to us that whilst this course may be online, we need to have a personal connection to each student and feel that you are suitably knowledgeable and confident to take your seat as a Pregnancy Yoga Specialist Teacher.

We're excited to guide you on your journey and we are here for you every step of the way!

With love,

Anya, Lara & Suzanne xxx

FAQ

Do you need to have experienced pregnancy to become a pregnancy yoga teacher?

It is possible and relevant to take this training during your pregnancy, depending on which stage you are at and how you are feeling. Please speak to the team to discuss in more detail.

You will be gently assessed throughout the training. There will be case-studies and a submission of your 40-60 minute Teacher led Pregnancy Yoga Class.

What happens if I don't pass the assessments?

We operate a 'no-fail' policy on this course meaning if we feel you need extra time and support to get to the level we are happy with, we will provide you with that.
